thouGhts:
My headache's gone mostly. Thanks to a good sleep.
Woke up, looked out my window and realise i cld actually see the nice round moon just lying there on my bed, bright and pretty. For the 1st time then, i didn't feel that homesick. Felt comfortable. I think i've could finally say i have really settled in, Yes, i do still crave and longed to be home in the comfort of my friends and family, but the feeling is no longer that bad.
A few ppl i've met has told me that they had mixed feelings when they returned home, and realised that they have changed and gotten used to the life here. Will i be like that? Prefer life here in aus to it being back home? I doubt so. Perhaps not i guess, i'm still very grounded and attached to my friends back there. U cld say that i wld break down if i didn't have their support throughout. Wld i be able to find such good friends here? Maybe yes, but in a different way i guess. Not the kind that know ur quirks and willing to accept u as u are. Not now, for tis period, friends are just purely friends. I won't be willing to go all out and help a friend i've just met, i'm just not able to. Not like my darlings, girlies & buds back home. For them, i'll do just bout anything i can to help in any way possible.
U know, back then, i nv tot i'll be able to find such good friends, my darlings who allow me to indulge and me be me and talk things out and have wild fun. Times with them are when i really let down my hair and have great fun. My girlies, who have known me forever, been with me throughout my growing up stage
For the 1st time yest, i sat myself down and really did my tut. Haa. Survived thru 3 weeks not doing any tuts.I wonder if acct is gonna be easy for me? Today's lec was all bout A=L+OE+R-E. Feel asleep when he got thru explaining what is assets.
Was looking thru my friendster list. Came across Linda's name. Her birthday's coming. Read thru her testi and suddenly felt a sense of sadness. I guess it will always be like tat when i look at her testi. Still trying to accept the reality that she's gone. Flashbacks of our time working in citiphone, the little girl riding a bike. I've always admired her bravery and courage, her discipline and independence. Can always rem the advice that she gave me. Though we were nv close, but we still worked in the same place for a yr and more. She's always there for me to ask questions when i need to. Always regarded as a friend to me. RIP my friend.
